In 1961 graduated with honors from Artem Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute. He worked as researcher IGTM NAS of Ukraine, in 1968 he enrolled in graduate school in 1970. defended his thesis. Since 1978 - Associate Professor. Specializes in the control parameters and of the mine atmosphere. He developed new methods and technical means to control methane and air velocity.
