In 1955 he graduated from Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute, which is connected with all his scientific and pedagogical activity. In 1959 he defended his candidate, and in 1967 - his doctoral thesis. He worked as assistant professor, professor, and from 1969 to 1998 Head of the Department aerology and safety. The famous scientist in the field of mines aerogas dynamics, control and management of gas ventilation shafts. Recently, successfully working on a theoretical basis and hardware system of underground drainage pits and on the problems associated with the use of CMM for the needs of the economy.
